The Salut Programme, launched in Västerbotten 2005, is a health initiative for children and adolescents in line with the health authority’s vision to have the healthiest population in the world by 2020.

The virus is air-borne and primarily spread by coughing and sneezing. If you contract influenza you will likely experience a high fever, headache, muscle aches, sore throat and coughing. You can protect yourself against influenza by getting a vaccination.
