Föräldrautbildning för nyblivna föräldrar - engelskaAs a parent, you’ll be offered a number of group or individual sessions at your child welfare clinic during the first year of your baby’s life.
During these sessions, we’ll be discussing various topics such as breastfeeding, bottle feeding, accidents and other issues that are important to you in your role as a parent. You’ll also receive information and advice on immunisations, baby health, development, rights and diseases.
The material below will be used to support these sessions.
It would be helpful if you could look through the material at home and bring your questions and concerns along to the sessions.
Session 1 – Your baby’s first days (your baby at 4 to 6 weeks of age)
We’ll be looking at topics such as food, depression and comforting a young baby.

Session 2 – Your baby and the family (your baby at 2 to 3 months of age)
We’ll be looking at topics such as food, stimulation and parenting.

We’ll be looking at topics such as babies’ basic needs and baby safety.

We’ll be looking at topics such as baby development, food and accidents.

This is the final session. We’ll be looking at topics such as language comprehension and your baby’s own will.
