You can call 1177 and speak to a nurse. The nurse speaks Swedish and English. You can also get advice on what you can do yourself and on where you can go for help. The 1177 telephone line is open 24 hours a day.
1177 direkt - for digital medical care
You log into ‘1177 direkt’ using your BankID or other E-identification applications and answer questions about your symptoms. Your symptoms will be assessed and you will then be able to chat with or have a video consultation with a healthcare professional. If necessary, a physical appointment will be booked for you at the medical centre. The service is in Swedish.

The emergency department looks after emergency patients. You can go to an emergency department for medical care if you suffer a serious accident or sudden, severe illness. The emergency department is located in a hospital and is always open, 24 hours a day. There is also an emergency eepartment for mental health conditions.
