Seeking medical care at a medical care centre (vårdcentral)
All medical care centres and their opening times are listed on 1177.se. Many clinics also offer online consultations. All clinics are listed under Find care services on 1177.se (sv).
If you are registered as resident in Västra Götaland you will also be registered with a medical care centre. Log in to 1177.se (sv) to check which centre you are registered with.
When the medical care centre is closed, seek medical care at an on-call centre
Seek medical care for illness or complaints that cannot wait until the following day. All on-call centres are listed under Find care services on 1177.se (sv)
If you need urgent medical care
Seek medical care at an Accident and Emergency (A&E) department in the event of life-threatening conditions, serious accidents or sudden severe illness. All A&E departments are listed under Find care services on 1177.se (sv).
112 in emergencies
Phone 112 in the event of an emergency. If necessary, an ambulance will be sent to take you to the A&E department.
Emergency dental care
Begin by going to your usual dentist or dental clinic. If it is closed, or if you don’t have a particular clinic that you go to, you can contact an on-call clinic (sv).
