Confidentiality
Everyone who works in healthcare is bound by confidentiality. This means that neither healthcare personnel nor students may disclose information about you unless otherwise permitted by law. This obligation of confidentiality also applies to interpreters.
Storage of samples in biobanks

Views on healthcare
If you have comments about the care you have received, you can file a complaint. You can either contact the facility where you have received treatment or contact the patient advisory committee (patientnämnden).

Payment and patient fees
How much you pay for your visit depends on such things as your age and the type of visit. You can pay by card or digital invoice when you visit the region’s healthcare units. If none of these options work for you, you can pay by paper invoice, direct debit or cash.
High-cost protection
There is a limit to how much you need to pay for health and medical care. It is called high-cost protection and is very similar in all regions.
