If you have recently met up with someone who has COVID-19, you may have been exposed to the infection. There is no guarantee that you are infected or that you will become unwell. However, it is important that you meet up with as few people as possible for a while. You should also take a test as soon as you can, regardless of whether or not you have symptoms.

Close contact means that you met up with someone for at least 15 minutes total during a 24-hour period and that you were less than two metres away from them, even outdoors.
